NAME: Vincent Valentine

PAST/HISTORY:
Vincent Valentine was born to Professor Grimoire Valentine and his wife. His mother died shortly after his birth, and due to this fact his father and he were not close. While his father gave Vincent all he could, material wise, he and Vincent did not bond emotionaly.

Vincent grew to take intrest in the ShinRa company his father worked for, especially the branch known as the Turks. He soon decided it was a life he wished to persue, being alone was not a new concept to him, and the job would give him the freedom of traveling outside the city, but also making a difference in the government perhaps. During his training years though he recieved notice of his father's death. This did not deter his plans and continued to become a Turk.

After gaining his title as Turk , Vincent was assigned to gaurding the researchers of ShinRa labratories. Particularly, Lucrecia Crescent. His feelings grew for her deeply and it was hard for him to remain professonal around her. When he discovered the plans involving the Sephiroth-Project he objected and attempted to stop Prof.Hojo from further expermentation on Lucrecia , but was "killed". Prof.Hojo expermented with Vincent's body, testing it's limits. Soon afterwords he was thrown into a non-descript coffin that would be his "resting place" for over 20 years.

Awakening from his nightmare-filled sleep he discovered that the cocktail of drugs that Hojo had fed him had kept him from dying, but not stopped the sicking slow decay of his body. His flesh rotting in places over his body. He still had agility and strength, yet his skin seemed to be falling away from him.

Wanting to seek revenge against Professor Hojo, and attempt to find his beloved Lucrecia, Vincent became a sort of shadowy-hero, seeking out justice. Currently attempting to revive the Tantalus inorder to help those less fortunate that wander the streets. He also spends most of his daylight hours constantly maintaining what is left of his body.
